Andrea has over twenty-five years of professional business experience. Andrea is a high-performing, strategic thinking professional with strong Executive experience in the non-profit, for-profit, higher education, and city/state government sectors. Andrea works hard to develop profitable relationships for students and staff. Andrea is highly skilled managing multiple departments and projects. Andrea continues to work on bringing organizations and people together for the betterment of all. Andrea's dual role as the Vice President of Student Services for Moore Tech enables her to understand the needs of industries in the Mid-South region and more importantly provides insight on the needs of those in the community specific to obtaining applicable education and training for the local workforce.
A native to Washington state Mrs. Baird relocated to Memphis, TN in 2017. In 2014 Andrea completed her Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Sociology and has complete her Executive MBA with University of Memphis in 2019. Andrea is currently working on her Doctorate in Education with a focus in Higher Education.
Andrea tasks herself as a transformational leader and enjoys giving back to the community. She volunteers as a board member with the following groups in Memphis; Mid-South Community Justice & Mediation Center, Inc., YWCA Greater Memphis, and Germantown Economic Development Commission. Additionally, Andrea actively contributes as a committee or partner member with the following organizations; Seeding Success-Memphis Housing and Education Collaborative and Literacy Mid-South N-ABLE (Network of Adult Basic Literacy and Education) & their Language Capacity Workgroup. Andrea is currently enrolled in the Leadership Bartlett class of 2020.
